The Member representing Zaria Kewaye Constituency, at the Kaduna State house of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Mohammed Haruna Ihamo, has expressed deep appreciation for what he described as the “transformative leadership” being witnessed in Zaria under the administration of the Executive Chairman, Engr. Jamel Ahmad Muhammad.
Speaking during the one-year anniversary celebration of the chairman’s administration at the Zaria Local Government Secretariat, Hon. Mohammed applauded the remarkable progress recorded across key sectors such as education, healthcare, empowerment, and infrastructure development.
“What we are experiencing in Zaria is nothing but the dividend of democracy,” the lawmaker said. “From the chairman to the governor, the Right Honorable Speaker, and even the President, all we can say is to thank Almighty God for giving us this leadership team.”
He noted that the developmental efforts in Zaria are visible in all sectors, adding that the unity and coordination between the different tiers of government have created a positive impact on the lives of residents.
“There is nothing that has been left untouched — from schools to health, from empowerment to security. These are clear signs of purposeful governance,” Hon. Ihamu added.
He concluded by offering prayers for continuous progress and divine protection for the leaders at all levels, from the local government to the presidency, emphasizing that their collective efforts are shaping a better future for the people of Zaria.
