The Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Dahiru Liman, has extended warm greetings and congratulations to the Christian community in Kaduna State, Nigeria, and across the world on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.
In his message, the Speaker described Christmas as a season that embodies essential values that strengthen society, including love, peace, unity, and deep reflection, while urging Christians to continue to uphold and demonstrate the noble virtues associated with the season, such as tolerance, patience, charity, forgiveness, and kindness.
Rt. Hon. Liman emphasized that the lessons of Christmas should serve as a foundation for greater mutual understanding and harmonious coexistence among all communities, regardless of religious or ethnic differences.
He offered prayers for God to fill the hearts and homes of Christians with joy, comfort, and tranquility, and further prayed that the New Year 2026 would bring abundant blessings, sound health, and lasting prosperity to all citizens.
He concluded his message by saying: “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
