The Federal Fire Service, Zaria Area Command hosted Hajiya Binta Garba, the Chief Executive Officer of the Maman Sultan Foundation Skills Acquisition and Training Center, Zaria, who presented an Award of Excellence to the Area Commander, Federal Fire Service (FFS), Zaria Area Command, ACF Aminu Ahmadu.
In a Press release issued by ASF II Kamaluddeen Shehu, Public Relations Officer of the Command said, the award recognizes his outstanding service, dedication, and contributions to the growth and development of the community.
Presenting the award, the CEO of the Foundation, Hajiya Binta Garba, commended ACF Aminu Ahmadu for his consistent support for community-based initiatives and his commitment to public safety and youth development.
She noted that the honour reflects the Foundation’s appreciation for leaders who positively impact society beyond their statutory responsibilities.
The Maman Sultan Foundation, located at No. 35, Behind Albarka Cinema, opposite Yen Kaji, Tudun Wada, Zaria, is actively involved in rehabilitating youths affected by drug addiction, while also empowering them through skills acquisition and small business training to make them self-reliant and productive members of society.
Receiving the award, ACF Aminu Ahmadu expressed gratitude to the Foundation and reaffirmed the Federal Fire Service’s readiness to continue partnering with credible organizations working towards community development and youth rehabilitation.
