As the first light of the New Year dawns upon our beloved nation, I, Hon. Sani Mahmood Shaaban, (Danburam Zazzau, Barden Keffi and Jagoran Talakawan Nigeria) extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt felicitations to all Nigerians and also to His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani CON May this year bring renewed strength, wisdom, and divine guidance as you continue to steer our nation and state toward peace, prosperity, and progress.
Mr. President, your bold and visionary reforms have begun to lay the foundation for a more resilient and self reliant Nigeria. Though the road has not been without its trials, your unwavering commitment to economic revitalization, institutional reform, and national unity is commendable.
The Nigerian people are beginning to see the green shoots of transformation, and I urge all citizens to remain patient and supportive as we journey through this season of renewal.
To my brother and friend, Governor Uba Sani, I salute your tireless efforts in sustaining peace and enhancing security across Kaduna State. Your inclusive governance and people centered policies have rekindled hope in our communities.
The relative peace and tranquility we now enjoy is a testament to your leadership and the collaborative spirit of our security agencies and traditional institutions.
I also want to use this medium to wish you a happy birthday your Excellency as you celebrate your 55th Birthday, I pray Allah to continue to guide and protect you.
As we step into this new chapter, I call on all Nigerians, north and south, young and old, rich and poor to embrace the spirit of peaceful coexistence.
Our diversity is our strength, and our unity is our shield. Let us reject the forces of division and violence, and instead, build bridges of understanding, tolerance, and mutual respect.
Insecurity remains a formidable challenge, but it is not insurmountable. With collective resolve, community vigilance, and continued support for our security forces, we can reclaim every inch of our land from the grip of fear and lawlessness. Let us work hand in hand with our leaders to ensure that every Nigerian, regardless of background, can live in peace and dignity.
As the Jagoran Talakawa, I reaffirm my commitment to the cause of the common man. I will continue to lend my voice to the voiceless and stand as a bridge between the governed and those who govern. Together, we can build a Nigeria where opportunity is not a privilege but a right, and where every citizen can dream without fear.
To His Excellency President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani, I pledge my continued support, loyalty and prayers. May your leadership be marked by wisdom, compassion, and enduring impact. And to all Nigerians, may this New Year 2026 bring us closer to the Nigeria of our dreams.
