The Nigerian Army Provost Marshal Major General Matthias O. Erebulu said the 2026 training seminar has mark another steps a critical focus on enhancing the capabilities, professionalism,and operational effectiveness of the corps in today's dynamic security land scape.
He stated this at the Nigerian Army Corps of Military Police training Training seminar 2026 held General Dambazau Auditorium at Nigerian Army Schoolof Military Police Basawa, Zaria today.
General Erebulu said the primary aims of this seminar is to gather knowledge and ideas that will empower the Nigerian Army Corp of Military Police personnel to effectively respond to contemporary security challenges and improved their effectiveness in the Nigerian Army.
He therefore called for critical thinking to positions the Corp as the foremost of excellent in law enforcement and security operations within the Nigerian Army.
The theme of this Bi annual Training Seminar is "Improving the efficiency of the Nigerian Army Corp of Military Police Personnel in the Nigerian Army" this has been toughtbily chosen its a capusilates a critical role that their personnel play in the Nigerian Army to enhance its performance while working collaboratively with multiples security agencies to maintain law and order .
The Provost Marshal urged the participants to ensured the realizations of this theme and the Seminar objectives series of well crafted topics has been organized this will cover vital area including comprehensive Military Police investigations in the Nigerian Army.
"Strengthen the Military Police to enhance the human right complianceh by troops, the impact of drugs abuse on Military personnel and the role of Military Police in maintaining Military/Civil relations".
"The Nigerian Army Corps of Military Police will continue to strengthen it capacity, professionalism and commitment to duty" .
He added that they will build on ability to adopt an improving trend in a joint operations to enhance the overall effectiveness of the Nigerian Army in safeguarding the nation peace and stability.
The Provost Marshal expressed concern on the misused Social media in the country.
