Hon. (Barr.) Mahmud Lawal Ismaila, Member representing Zaria City Constituency and Deputy Chief Whip of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, joined Malam Isa Lawal (Honorary Adviser, Domestic), who represented His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Sen. Dr. Uba Sani, at a medical outreach organized by the Tiyaye Foundation at the Primary Health Care Center, Saminaka.
The event attracted notable dignitaries including the Emir of Saminaka and Chawai, the APC Party Chairman, Council Vice Chairman, Hon. Speaker, and Councilors of Lere Local Government. Also present were the S.A. Interparty Affairs to the Governor, Mal. Idris Goga; Barr. Mustapha Haruna of KADGIS; Yusuf Lawal; Mal. Mohammad Aliyu; and Hon. Ibrahim Luzuru, among others.
Declaring the event open, Mal. Isa Lawal (Baba Isa) commended the Foundation for its continued support to the less privileged and prayed for divine reward for its humanitarian initiatives.
In his remarks, the Founder, Mal. Shehu Tiyaye, said the Foundation has been assisting the less privileged in Saminaka for the past three years and reaffirmed its support for the developmental agenda of Governor Uba Sani.
The Emir of Saminaka appreciated the Governor’s efforts and appealed for the reconstruction of the Lere–Saminaka Road.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Mahmud Lawal Ismaila congratulated the Foundation for organizing the outreach and urged beneficiaries to make judicious use of the medical items. He highlighted some of the Governor’s key achievements, including the renovation of hospitals (such as the General Hospital, Saminaka), school and road rehabilitation, fertilizer distribution, reforms at the Kaduna State Scholarship and Loans Board, and the upgrading of tertiary institutions.
He also commended the people of Lere for the establishment of the Kaduna State College of Agricultural Technology and Environmental Sciences, Saminaka, sponsored by Hon. Mannira Suleiman Tanimu, Majority Leader of the House.
Earlier in the week, Hon. Ismaila joined the Commissioner for Environment, who represented the Governor, at the wedding of the daughter of Banagan Lere at the Emir’s Palace, before proceeding to Unguwan Tiyaye for an interactive visit.
Hon. Ismaila prayed for continued divine guidance and protection for all leaders and citizens as they serve their communities.
