The Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Liman, has congratulated His Royal Highness, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR, Emir of Zazzau and Chairman of the Kaduna State Council of Chiefs, on the occasion of his fifth anniversary on the throne.
In a statement issued in Kaduna, the Speaker joined the government and people of Kaduna State, as well as Nigerians across the country, in celebrating what he described as a “momentous milestone” in the reign of the Emir.
Rt. Hon. Liman commended the Emir for his exemplary leadership, wisdom, and commitment to peace, unity, and development within the Zazzau Emirate and across Kaduna State.
He noted that as Chairman of the Kaduna State Council of Chiefs, the Emir has played a pivotal role in promoting harmony and social cohesion among the diverse communities of the state. According to him, His Highness’s fatherly guidance and wise counsel have greatly influenced inclusive policies that continue to uplift the lives of citizens.
“The Emir has exemplified true leadership — blending the rich traditions of our forebears with a forward-looking vision for the future,” the Speaker said. “His efforts in uniting communities, driving development, and preserving our cultural heritage have left indelible marks over the past five years.”
Liman further described the Emir as a visionary leader and statesman whose integrity, discipline, and people-centered approach have contributed immensely to peace and progress in Kaduna State and Nigeria at large.
As the Emir marks this important milestone, the Speaker prayed for continued divine blessings, wisdom, and good health for His Highness.
“Allah ya ja zamanin Sarki. Allah ya kara ma Sarki lafiya,” he added.
