The Cooperative Rating and Award Society of Nigeria has awarded the Provost of the Federal Cooperative College Kaduna, Dr. Ibrahim Muhammad Awwal as the outstanding provost of the year 2025.
Presenting the award on behalf of the society at the 7th National Cooperative Award 2025 in Lagos, the state Minister of Agriculture and food security Dr. Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi also presented outstanding award to the best Cooperative Institution of the year to the prestigious Federal Cooperative College Kaduna.
Speaking after the presentation, the Minister lauded the sterling leadership qualities of the Provost Federal Cooperative College Kaduna in infrastructural development and the innovation initiated and designed that boost the academic status of the college.
He noted that the Federal Cooperative College Kaduna under the leadership of Dr. Ibrahim Muhammad Awwal has achieved a lot within a short period of time noting that the ministry of Agriculture and food security is aware of the transformation brought and urged other Cooperative Colleges in the country to emulate.
In a words of appreciation to the organisers of the award, Provost Federal Cooperative College Kaduna, Dr Ibrahim Muhammad Awwal described the award moral booster and will encourage him to do more for the college.
He reiterates his commitment to bringing more innovation that will impact positively in the academic standard of the college so as to compete favorably with other tertiary institutions in the country.
