The Federal Fire Service (FFS), Zaria Area Command, responded promptly to a fire outbreak on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at about 16:00 hours, at Dogarawa, Layin Gari, Kwantiresha,Sabon Gari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
In a Press release issued by ASF II Kamaluddeen Shehu, Public Relations Officer of the Command said, the incident, whose cause is yet to be ascertained pending further investigation, affected a four-bedroom residential bungalow with a kitchen, belonging to Alhaji Kabiru Mustapha
Upon receipt of a distress call from Kamilu Murtala, gallant officers of the Zaria Area Command immediately mobilized to the scene. Under the able leadership of DSF Hamza Nagoggo, the firefighting team deployed one medium jet from Fire Appliance 195 and successfully contained and extinguished the fire.
The prompt and professional intervention of the firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to adjoining structures, thereby saving properties estimated at ₦3.7 million.
An eye witness narrate that their is no body in the house he just saw a dense smoke and later realized that it's a fire outbreak.
No casualties were recorded, and no loss of life occurred during the incident.
