A Quantity Surveyor, Jameelu Mohammed has called on young people to remain committed to education and contribute positively to the development of their communities.
Jameelu made the call in an interview with Daily Naija Updates shortly after receiving an award from Taskira Newspaper.
He expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the recognition, noting that he did not expect such an honour but believed that members of the public considered him worthy of the award.
He also thanked the organizers and those who came to celebrate with him, appreciating the support and joy they expressed following the presentation of the award.
According to him, it is important for every individual to contribute in their own way toward the progress and development of society.
Jameelu described youths as the leaders of tomorrow and urged them to conduct themselves responsibly so they can become valuable members of society in the future.
He further emphasized the need for community leaders and parents to closely monitor young people and provide them with proper guidance and advice that will help them make the right decisions in life.
He also advised youths to avoid bad company that could lead them into negative or criminal activities.
Jameelu stressed that one of the most important things for young people is dedication to education, adding that acquiring knowledge will help them build good character and maintain positive relationships throughout their lives.
