The Member representing Zaria Kewaye Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly Hon. Engr. Isa Haruna Mohammed, has reaffirmed his commitment to improving education and supporting the development of communities across his constituency.
The lawmaker’s latest intervention followed a request made by residents of Rafin Giwa community in Dambo Ward during his bye-election campaign, where the community appealed for urgent renovation and improvement of its primary school.
Following the appeal, Hon. Isa Haruna Mohammed presented the community’s request to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Uba Sani, who responded positively through the state government’s efforts to improve basic education infrastructure across Kaduna State.
The intervention resulted in the construction of new classrooms and the renovation of some existing facilities at the school, providing pupils with a more conducive environment for learning and teaching.
The newly improved school was officially commissioned, with Hon. Engr. Isa Haruna Mohammed representing Governor Uba Sani at the ceremony.
He was accompanied by Engr. Ahmed Yahaya of the Kaduna State Unversal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), alongside other government officials and colleagues.
Speaking during the event, the development was described as more than the construction and renovation of classrooms, but a strategic investment in the future of children and the socio-economic development of the community.
The intervention also highlights the importance of collaboration between elected representatives, the state government and local communities in addressing critical educational needs and strengthening basic education infrastructure.
For Hon. Isa Haruna Mohammed, the project further demonstrates his determination to make education a key priority and to support initiatives capable of improving the lives and future prospects of constituents in Zaria Kewaye.
