Represented by Garkuwan Ayyukan Zazzau Engineer Ibrahim Balarabe Musa, the Emir noted that road traffic management involves multiple agencies.
“When we discuss road traffic issues, we involve the police, fire service, civil defence, and the FRSC because we are all working toward the same goal—safety,” he said.

“We are here to urge the public to adopt safer road practices and to encourage passengers to speak up against unsafe driving,” she stated. “Avoiding accidents is a collective responsibility. This campaign aims to drastically reduce crashes and eliminate fatalities.”She added."
Karla appealed to all motorists within and passing through Kaduna State to obey traffic laws and “drive to stay alive.”
Also speaking, the Zaria Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Nasiru Abdullahi Falgore—represented by SRC Kabiru Kabiru Mado—described the Ember Months as a period that demands “utmost caution.”
He lamented the frequent loss of lives and property and urged drivers to obey regulations and adopt preventive measures to curb accidents.
From the transport unions, the State Deputy Chairman of NARTO, Sa’idu Mustapha Basawa, highlighted their strong collaboration with security agencies.
He called for the installation of more road signs in strategic locations and reminded motorists to strictly adhere to traffic rules.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by KASTELEA’s Zonal Commander, CM Umar Yahaya, who appreciated the Emir and all dignitaries in attendance.
The 2025 Ember Months campaign is themed: “A Journey of Safety Is Achieved Through Safe Driving.” The program drew participation from multiple security agencies committed to reducing road accidents across Kaduna State.
