FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE, ZARIA AREA COMMANDER DELIVERS FIRE SAFETY LECTURE AT SEMINAR ORGANISED BY JIBWIS FIRST AID GROUP, KADUNA STATE

In furtherance of its continuous efforts to engage religious organisations within the community, the Zaria Area Commander of the Federal Fire Service (FFS), ACF Aminu Amadu, delivered a comprehensive fire safety enlightenment lecture during a seminar organised by the First Aid Group of Jama’atul Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Kaduna State

In a Press release signed by ASF II Kamaluddeen Shehu, Public Relations Officer, Federal Fire Service Zaria Area Command. said, the seminar was held at the Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Annex, Zaria, and brought together members of the JIBWIS First Aid Group for capacity building and leadership development.

During his presentation, ACF Aminu Amadu emphasised that sustained synergy with religious organisations remains a vital strategy for promoting a culture of fire prevention and significantly reducing the incidence of avoidable fire outbreaks within communities.

 He encouraged other religious groups to emulate the JIBWIS First Aid Group by actively preparing youths to acquire and practise fire safety skills in their respective places of worship and communities.

In his remarks, the Kaduna State Director of the JIBWIS First Aid Group, Muhammad Auwal Abdullahi, explained that the three-day seminar, themed “The Role of First Aiders Towards Advancing Good Leadership,” was organised to bring together experts from various fields to brainstorm on human capacity development. 

He noted that fire prevention was a key lecture area of the programme, aimed at strengthening collaboration and enlightening participants on the dos and don’ts of fire safety.

In conclusion, he expressed his appreciation to the Federal Fire Service, Zaria Area Command, for finding time to enrich the seminar with extensive and practical fire safety knowledge.
