Hon. Ishaq Baba Sale, an aspirant for Zaria city Constituency at the Kaduna State House of Assembly in the 2027 elections, has commended the remarkable education support initiative celebrated at an award ceremony in Zaria.
He made the remarks at the event organised by students in honour of Hon. Barr. Mahmud Lawal Ismail (Bola Ige), member representing Zaria City Constituency, Chairman House Committee on Education, and Deputy Chief Whip at the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
The ceremony took place at the hall of Al-Hudahuda College.Zaria.
Hon. Baba Sale described the gathering as impressive and well-deserved, noting that the importance of education in human development makes such recognition unsurprising.
He said anyone present at the occasion would feel proud and inspired by the lawmaker’s dedication to educational advancement.
According to him, Hon. Lawal Ismail has consistently demonstrated love and commitment to the people of Zaria, especially youths and women, through sustained investment in education over the years.
He added that the lawmaker’s track record, competence, and passion for learning informed his appointment by the Speaker, Hon. Yusuf Dahiru Liman, as Chairman of the House Committee on Education—an opportunity he has used effectively to deliver meaningful impact.
Hon. Baba Sale expressed joy for the beneficiaries of the gesture and prayed that the opportunity would mark the beginning of greater progress for them and their communities.
He concluded by urging continued support and prayers for leaders who prioritise education, describing Hon. Lawal Ismail as a selfless representative whose efforts deserve commendation and emulation.
